Meet Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott embraces an ongoing commitment to a culture of excellence and to serving his community. In achieving Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Scott became East Louisville’s only Board-Certified Endodontist and one of only two practicing endodontists in Louisville. The Board Certification process, which takes years to accomplish, is only given to those who promote the highest quality of care for their patients. Those selected and awarded with this distinction demonstrate superior diagnostic skill, excellent clinical proficiency, and outstanding professional judgment. Less than a quarter of endodontists reach this level of certification. Because of this honor, Dr. Scott is excited to share his expertise by providing top-quality endodontics to the Louisville area. To do that, he utilizes the latest technology to help his patients receive the best care. As Louisville’s first and only provider to incorporate the GentleWave® procedure, he leads the market as he highlights his ongoing commitment to the most advanced endodontic care possible.

Dr. Scott is a Louisville native. Having grown up in Middletown and attended duPont Manual High School, he continued his education at the University of Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2009. After years of private practice in Louisville, Dr. Scott joined the National Health Service Core and moved to Alaska.

While providing dental care in southwest Alaska, Dr. Scott gained a passion for endodontics. He was able to fulfill this ambition with his acceptance and completion of an endodontic residency at LSU. There he also obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. In 2016, he moved back to Louisville and opened his endodontic practice. Upon his return, he reestablished his connection with the Louisville dental community by becoming part-time faculty at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Scott is an active member of the Louisville Dental Society, the Kentucky Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, and the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Scott and his wife, Jean, enjoy spending their free time traveling with their three young daughters, Dylan, Grace and Pippa.
